• Posts A, B and C (Deputy Manager): Out of the 8 years of post-qualification executive experience (including training/trainee period, if any), candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the pay scale of Rs. 60,000 – 1,80,000 or above (IDA pay scale of E3 grade or above of NTPC, effective from 01.01.2017) or an equivalent scale. Candidates must also provide an NOC (No Objection Certificate) from their employer while applying.
• Post D (Assistant Manager, Operation/Maintenance – Mechanical): Out of the 5 years of post-qualification executive experience (excluding training/trainee period, if any), candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000 or above (IDA pay scale of E2 grade or above of NTPC, effective from 01.01.2017) or an equivalent scale. An NOC from the employer is required while applying.
• Posts E and F (Engineer, Assistant Officer): Candidates must provide an NOC from their employer while applying.

9. NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the current employer, for candidates currently working in Govt/Public Sector Undertakings.
10. Pay scale circular/matrix to verify service for the required number of years in the required pay scale, for candidates currently working in Govt/Public Sector Undertakings.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• The category once filled in the online application form cannot be changed, and no benefit of any other category will be admissible later.
• Candidates claiming a particular category must have a valid SC/ST/Disability certificate from the Competent Authority, in the latest prescribed format of the Govt. of India.
