- TGT: Four years Integrated Degree course in the concerned subject from any Institution recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates); OR Bachelor Degree in Arts & Science in the concerned subject with 50% in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates) along with degree in Bachelor in Education / 3 years Integrated B.A. B.Ed. (a course prescribed by the NCTE) from an Institution recognized by the NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University.
- TGT (English): English as an Honours / Pass / Elective / Major / Special Subject at Graduation Level.
- TGT (Odia): Odia as an Honours / Pass / Elective / Major / Special Subject at Graduation Level.
- TGT (Social Studies): One must have a subject in B.A. in any 01 of the following 04 subject: History, Geography, Pol. Sc. & Economics. In addition he should have 01 more subject out of the following 08 subjects: History, Geography, Economics, Pol. Sc., Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Indian Geography, Landmark in Indian History as Honours /Elective/ Pass.
- TGT (Math): Bachelor Degree in Science with at least 200 marks in Math as a subject with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Application, Statistics & Electronics. OR B. Tech / B.E Degree with 200 marks in Math and any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Application, Statistics & Electronics.

- PGT: Two years Integrated post Graduate Course with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates) in any of the following subjects; OR Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/ SEBC/PH candidates) in any of the following subjects;
- PGT (English): English

- PGT (Commerce): Master Degree in Commerce from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates). However, the holder of degree in M.Com. in Applied / Business Economics shall not be eligible. & Bachelor Degree in Education (a course prescribed by NCTE) from an Institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University.
- PGT (Economics): Master Degree in Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/PH/ SEBC candidates). & Bachelor Degree in Education (a course prescribed by NCTE) from an Institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University.
- PGT (Computer Science): At least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/PH/ SEBC candidates) in any of the following; B.E or B.Tech (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University OR B.E or B.Tech (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized University OR M.Sc (Computer Science/IT)/MCA from a recognized University OR “B” level from DOEACC/NIELIT and Post Graduate Degree in any subject from a recognized University OR “C” level from DOEACC/NIELIT and Graduation from a recognized University.
