Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: 10th pass or ITI or equivalent
- Essential qualifications: Sports persons must be in possession of the minimum educational qualification as applicable to the post as on the date of Notification. Those who are appearing for final examination or awaiting results of final examination are not eligible.
Salary/Stipend
- Level-2 RS(RP) Rules 2016
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
- No age relaxation (upper or lower) shall be permissible
Application Fee
- For all candidates except those mentioned below: Rs.500/-
- For SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes: Rs.250/- with a provision for refunding the same to those who actually appear in the trials.
- The Examination Fee is not refundable/transferable/adjustable under any circumstances, in respect of those candidates who do not appear in the trials.
- The Examination Fee should be paid in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO)/ Demand Draft (DD) only, from any Post Office/Nationalised Bank drawn in favour of Principal Financial Adviser (PFA), Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore-560 064, payable at Bangalore.
- Remittance of Examination Fee in any other form except Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft will not be accepted.

General Information/Instructions
- The candidates should note that, only the Date of Birth as recorded in the 10th Standard/Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate submitted along with the application will be accepted.
- Candidates should note that he is required to produce the originals of all documents pertaining to educational qualification, caste, sports achievements, date of birth, minority income certificate and proof of identity viz. PAN card, Aadhar Card, Driving Licence etc. on the day of trials or at any point of time during the recruitment process, failing which he will not be permitted to appear in the trials or for further recruitment process.
- Candidates should also note that only those sports achievements and educational qualification for which self attested copies of certificates are enclosed along with the application will only be considered for recruitment.
- Candidates applying for more than one game/event shall submit separate applications with separate Examination Fee.
- Applicant should fill all the columns in the Application form without fail.
- Applications without prescribed proof of age, educational qualification and sports achievements.
- Applicant should possess the prescribed minimum educational qualification and sports achievements on the date of submission of application.
- SC/ST candidates will be eligible for free rail travel on production of self-attested photocopy of SC/ST certificate.
- Candidates may note that submission of fake / forged documents or providing false information will lead to cancellation of candidature / termination of service without any notice at any stage i.e. Written test / Practical Demonstration / Empanelment / after Appointment. Further, such candidates are liable for criminal prosecution.
- Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification of the candidature.
- Candidates must ensure that they must upload soft copies of the relevant Cultural, Educational Qualifications, photograph, LTI/RTI, Signature etc as required. Incomplete applications and applications uploaded without requisite documents / LTI/RTI will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- Mere calling for Written Test / Practical Demonstration will not be a guarantee for appointment.
