A security deposit is required at the choice-filling stage, and the amount depends on the seat category the candidate wants to fill choices for:

How to Apply for Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling 2026
- Visit the official portal, ug.neetrajasthan.com, or medicaleducation.rajasthan.gov.in.
- Click on the registration/application link and read the instructions in the information bulletin carefully.
- Complete Part 1 of the application form using your NEET UG 2026 details.
- Complete Part 2 of the application form with personal, academic and category details. The board has stated that completing both parts is mandatory for further stages.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee online (₹2,500 or ₹1,500, as applicable) before the deadline of August 17, 2026 (4:00 PM).
- Pay the applicable security deposit during the choice-filling window (August 14–20, 2026).
- Fill and lock your college/course choices before the auto-lock deadline of 11:55 PM on August 20, 2026.
- Check the Round 1 seat allotment result on August 22, 2026.
- If allotted a seat, deposit the tuition fee and report to SMS Medical College, Jaipur, with original documents between August 23 and August 27, 2026.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Both Part 1 and Part 2 of the application form must be completed; incomplete applications cannot proceed to choice filling or seat allotment.
- Defence, Para Military and NRI candidates must appear physically for verification on August 19, 2026, at the Academic Block, SMS Medical College, Jaipur. A separate notice on this will be published on the website.
- Choice filling and security deposit both close at fixed deadlines; late submissions will not be accepted.
- The schedule for Round 2 and subsequent rounds has not yet been announced and will be notified separately by the board.
