Research Associate-I:
PhD in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Plant Biology / Bioengineering / Agricultural Microbiology / Life Sciences from a recognized university. Should have strong experience in design and development of research experiments with at least one first-authored research paper in an SCI journal. Candidates should have strong experience in microbial engineering, synthetic/structural biology, or metabolic pathway modification, preferably in photosynthetic or soil bacteria, with good analytical skills. Familiarity with omics approaches (transcriptomics/metabolomics) and bioinformatics tools will be preferred.
Project Associate:
M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Life Sciences / Agricultural Microbiology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Bioengineering / Molecular Biology / Bioinformatics / Structural Biology / Genomics / Pharmacy or any other related subject, with 2 years of research experience in R&D in industrial / academic / scientific institutions. Field Assistant:

Research Associate-I – Job Responsibilities:
Engineering and functional characterization of photosynthetic bacterial strains for enhanced CO₂ capture; conducting lab-scale and greenhouse/field experiments on soil fertility and crop productivity; monitoring greenhouse gas flux (CO₂, CH₄) and analyzing carbon sequestration efficiency; flexibility to work at different locations including field experiments and other related projects; data integration and reporting by analyzing experimental datasets (physiological, molecular, gas flux) and contributing to LCA and carbon accounting frameworks; assisting in project coordination and mentoring junior researchers/students.
Project Associate – Job Responsibilities:
Assisting in engineering and optimizing strains; performing real-time monitoring of CO₂ and CH₄ flux and ensuring data quality for MRV (Measurement, Reporting, Verification) frameworks; bioprocess optimization including maintaining and operating photobioreactors, optimizing growth parameters, and scaling up cultures; conducting greenhouse and field experiments to evaluate impact on soil fertility, microbial dynamics, and crop productivity across multiple locations; data integration and reporting by analyzing experimental datasets and contributing to LCA and carbon accounting frameworks.
