Rajasthan State Judicial Academy (RSJA) has notified 1 vacancy for the post of Research Scholar on a contract basis. Fresh Law Graduates or Post Graduates in Law from a University, College, or Institution established by Law in India are eligible to apply. The pay for the Research Scholar post is Rs. 50,000 per month. A candidate must be a citizen of India.

RSJA Research Scholar Age Limit

Maximum age of the candidate as on 1st January of year 2026 must not be more than 33 years.

RSJA Research Scholar Salary

A fixed honorarium of Rs. 50,000/- per month without any dearness or other allowance/perquisite, shall be paid to the Research Scholar.

RSJA Research Scholar Application Fee

Every candidate shall pay Rs. 100/- as fee through Demand Draft or Postal Order to be drawn in the name of Director, Rajasthan State Judicial Academy, Academy.

RSJA Research Scholar Selection Process

The selection process comprises shortlisting of applications based on research achievements, academic career and computer skills, followed by an interview by the Selection Committee assessing research/academic record as well as language communication and computer skills.

2. Affix a latest colored photograph taken on or after 01.01.2026 in passport size with your signature thereon and self-attested across the mid of the photograph extending towards right side.
3. Mark the envelope containing application as "APPLICATION FOR ENGAGEMENT AS RESEARCH SCHOLAR".
4. Attach self-attested copies of certificates in support of age, educational qualifications, academic/research work/publications, and communication skills/working knowledge of computer.
5. Enclose Demand Draft or Postal Order of Rs. 100/- issued in the name of Director, Rajasthan State Judicial Academy, Jodhpur.
6. Furnish a checklist along with application form mentioning details about certificates and testimonials enclosed.
7. Send the application via speed post, registered post A.D., through courier, or deposit it by hand during office hours to the office of Director, Rajasthan State Judicial Academy, Jodhpur on or before 31/10/2026 (Latest by 05:00 PM).

RSJA Research Scholar Important Instructions

• The engagement is purely temporary on a contractual basis initially for a term of two years, extendable for a further period of one year based on performance.
• Research Scholar shall not practice in any court of law nor be engaged/appointed elsewhere on honorarium/payment or otherwise during the engagement.
• If already enrolled with any Bar Council, the candidate shall get his/her enrolment suspended during the entire term of this engagement.
• A Research Scholar intending to leave engagement at premature stage shall be required to give prior notice of three months, or residuary term of engagement, whichever is less.
• Research Scholar shall not leave headquarter without seeking permission from Director, Rajasthan State Judicial Academy, Jodhpur.
• Proportionate reduction of honorarium shall be made for unauthorized absence, so also for absence beyond permissible period of leave.
• The selected candidate will be given a 'Letter of Offer' on the date of commencement of engagement.
• Candidates must furnish names and contact details of two responsible persons of integrity, honesty and good moral character (not blood relations or other relatives) in column 21 of the application format.
