RSSB Junior Instructor 2024: Recruitment Background

The Junior Instructor 2024 cycle was notified by RSSB (then operating as RSMSSB) under two separate advertisements. Advertisement 08/2024, covering 679 posts, was released for the trades of Workshop Calculation and Science, Engineering Drawing, Computer Lab/IT Lab, and Employability Skills. Advertisement 09/2024, covering 1,821 posts across 279 Scheduled Area and 1,542 Non-Scheduled Area positions, covered a wider set of trades including Draftsman Civil, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, ICT System Maintenance, Mechanical Diesel, and others. Together, both advertisements notified a total of 2,500 Junior Instructor vacancies.

Online applications were accepted through the Rajasthan SSO portal (sso.rajasthan.gov.in) in March–April 2024, and the written examination was conducted from 16 to 20 November 2024.
