Who Can Apply
Candidates must belong to the IRSSE / S&T Department and meet the following eligibility criteria based on the post:
- For General Manager (GM): Officers holding substantively posts in analogous grade (CDA / IDA) OR posts in Level-13 (CDA) & having 17 years’ service in Group ‘A’ OR posts carrying grade IDA E-7 (Rs. 100000-260000/-) for four years. Age must be below 58 years.
- For Additional General Manager (AGM): Officers holding substantively posts in analogous grade (CDA/IDA) OR posts in Level-13(CDA) & having 12-14 years’ service in Group ‘A’ OR posts in IDA E-6 grade (Rs. 90000-240000/-) for four years. Age must be below 56 years.
Note: The cut-off date for age and eligibility is reckoned as on the closing date of the vacancy notice (13 November 2026).
Pay and Terms
Selected officers will receive parent pay plus deputation allowance. The appointment is on a deputation basis for an initial duration of five years, subject to government approval for exemption to RVNL from the rule of immediate absorption.
