• Project Technical Assistant –A (Mechanical): Relevant mechanical fitting experience in manufacturing of enclosures for electronic applications Basic working knowledge of operation of Lathes, Milling, Drilling, Shaping and Cutting machines. General Information / Instructions

• The above posts carry consolidated pay and appointment will be purely on contract basis. Age limit for all the posts are given below. Age shall be determined based on the date of advertisement.
• Age relaxation shall be applicable to SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per Government of India norms. TA/DA will not be paid to candidate for appearing for screening test and/or interview. SAMEER reserves the right to reject or accept the candidature of any applicant at any stage without giving any reason. SAMEER reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge/modify/alter the recruitment process, if need arises, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason thereof. Candidate should ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed for the post they have applied.
• In case it is found out in any stage of the selection process or even after that the candidate has furnished false or incorrect information or suppressed relevant information/material or does not fulfil the criteria, his/her candidature/service are liable for rejection/termination without notice. Candidate should have completed the qualifying course as on the date of walkin interview.
• Provisional or original certificate for the qualifying course has to be produced. Candidate will have to produce all original certificates for verification at the time of interview.
• The appointment is purely on contractual basis and shall not confer any right for regularization/absorption or continuation of service in SAMEER. The person selected for contract appointment will not have any claim or right for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term contract. Experience beyond the years prescribed in the advertisement shall not be considered for grant of additional increments and no candidate shall have a right to claim such increments. Experience will be counted post-acquisition of essential qualification.
• Only candidates whose M.Tech discipline aligns with the advertisement and/or the desired area of work indicated will be considered as having a relevant M.Tech for the post. Applications from candidates who have previously been engaged with any SAMEER Centre in the capacity of Research Scientist, Project Engineer (PE) or Research Scientist (RS) for an aggregate period of five (5) years or more shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment to the post of Project Engineer (PE). Selected candidate will have liability to serve anywhere in the country.
• The initial salary of the selected candidate shall be fixed based on experience relevant to the post, with the recommendation of the Selection Committee and with the approval of the competent authority. Annual increment will be given after each year based on the performance of the selected candidate and on recommendation of the concerned HoD and provided his salary is less than the maximum for his post.
• The maximum salary for a particular post will be capped at the maximum in for a particular post. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence will be treated as disqualification for the post. No interim queries will be entertained.
