Eligibility Criteria
- Essential qualification: 12th in Science plus Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems or equivalent.
- Essential experience: Five years of experience in the relevant subject/field after acquiring the prescribed essential qualification.
Salary / Stipend
- Monthly emoluments of Rs. 20,000/- plus 20% HRA for the Project Technical Support II post.
Age Limit
- Upper age limit is 35 years for the Project Technical Support II post as on 01 January 2026.

Selection Process
- Applications will be screened and eligible candidates will be called for an interview at the Biomedical Technology Wing, Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 012.
- Depending on the number of candidates, a qualifying written test may be conducted for initial screening; only qualified candidates will be called for interview.
- Marks obtained in the written test, if conducted, will not be counted for final ranking and no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
General Information / Instructions
- The post is under an ICMR funded project “Development and in-vivo evaluation of percutaneous Minimally Invasive Left Ventricular Assist Device” and is purely temporary.
- Initial appointment is up to 28.02.2026, likely to be extended up to 29.02.2028, subject to project needs.
- Eligible candidates must upload scanned copies of certificates for age, qualification, experience, and valid caste/non-creamy layer certificates (for SC/OBC) in the prescribed Central Government format.
- Experience wherever prescribed means experience gained after acquiring the essential qualification.
