Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications (Essential):
- (i) B.Sc (minimum three year course) in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology + 3 years’ experience OR
- (ii) M.Sc in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology.
- Experience (Desirable):
- Experience in polymer synthesis, polymer characterization, experience in animal experimentation, sample collection for serum analysis.
Salary/Stipend
- Monthly emoluments: ₹28,000/- + 18% HRA.
- Salary Unit: Per month.

Selection Process
- Applications will be screened for eligibility.
- Eligible candidates will be called for an Interview at the Biomedical Technology Wing of the Institute at Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram.
- Depending on the number of candidates, a written test of a qualifying nature will be conducted for initial screening. Marks obtained in the written test (if conducted) will not be counted for final ranking.
- Selection will be based on performance in the interview.
General Information/Instructions
- This recruitment is for an ICMR funded Project entitled "Clinically relevant Three-Dimensional Bioprinted Liver Construct and its efficacy evaluation in Procine Liver Disease Model" (P.8255).
- The duration is initially for a period up to 24.02.2026, likely to be extended up to 24.02.2028.
- Experience wherever prescribed means experience gained AFTER acquiring the prescribed essential qualification.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Candidates must upload valid caste certificates for the ST reservation.
