Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: B.Tech in Mechanical / Biomedical / Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering + M.Tech.
- Essential qualifications: B.Tech + M.Tech in relevant engineering discipline.
- Desirable: Ph.D. is desirable.
- Experience: Prior experience in medical device development, experience in CAD modeling & analysis tools is desirable. Experience wherever prescribed means experience gained AFTER acquiring the prescribed essential qualification.
Salary/Stipend
- Monthly emoluments: Rs.25,000/- + 20% HRA.
- Salary Unit: Per month.

Selection Process
- Applications will be screened, and eligible candidates will be called for an Interview.
- Depending on the number of candidates, a written test of a qualifying nature will be conducted for initial screening.
- Only candidates who qualify in the written test (if conducted) will be called for an interview.
- Marks obtained in the written test will not be counted for final ranking.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

- The position is for a DST—TRC funded Project entitled “Development of Novel Mitral Clip” P.8302.
- Duration of the project: For a period up to 31.03.2026.
- The post is contractual for a specific duration.
- Candidates must upload scanned copies of certificates to prove age, qualifications, experience, and a valid caste certificate (for ST candidates) in the prescribed format applicable for employment in Central Govt. Institutions.
