SECR Nagpur Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the date 19-05-2026. Before applying, candidates should ensure they fulfill the eligibility and other criteria. Engineering Graduates and Diploma Holders are not eligible to apply for apprenticeship in response to this notification as they are governed by a separate scheme of Apprenticeship. SECR Nagpur Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Age Limit
Candidates must be minimum 15 years and not more than 24 years of age as on 19-05-2026. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), Divyang/PWBD and Ex-Servicemen (10 years). For Ex-Servicemen, an additional 10 years relaxation (plus 3 years if continuous service of 6 months) is also applicable. Age relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates is subject to submission of the latest caste certificate in central format. The upper age limit shall not exceed the relaxed limit in any case.

SECR Nagpur Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Selection Process
Selection will be based on a merit list prepared for all candidates who apply against the notification. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate) plus ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. For candidates from boards like Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh and Board of Public Examination Kerala (grade-based systems), SECR Nagpur Division will take the midpoint of the range of grades obtained, treating each subject as out of 100 marks for average calculation. Shortlisted candidates will be subject to verification of all original testimonials and appropriate medical examination. After selection, requests to change division/unit will not be entertained.
