Who Can Apply

Candidates must possess all of the following essential qualifications on the last date of receipt of applications:

A Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science, with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.
At least five years as a Librarian at any level in a University / college Library, or 5 years of teaching as Assistant Professor / Associate Professor in Library Science, or 5 years' experience as a College / institution Librarian.
Evidence of innovative library services, including integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the library.
A Ph.D. degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science / Archives and Manuscript-keeping.

Pay and Tenure

The position is full-time on a contract basis for an initial period of one year, extendable based on performance review and requirement of the University. The consolidated monthly remuneration is Rs. 39,690/-.

Selection and Interview
