Applications are invited for the appointment of Assistant Professor on a Guest Lecture basis for the academic session 2025-26 in the Department of Chemistry.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications: Qualifications for guest faculty shall be the same as those prescribed for appointment of regular Assistant Professor of Universities/College in UGC regulations.
• Essential qualifications: Candidates must be eligible as per UGC Regulation, 2018. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities categories should keep a self-attested copy of the certificate ready in the prescribed format.
• OBC NCL Status: The non-creamy layer certificate should be issued after 31 March 2024.

Salary/Stipend

• Emolument: The concerned faculty would be paid an honorarium @ ₹1500/- per lecture.
• Maximum Limit: Subject to a maximum of ₹50,000/- per month (in accordance with UGC letter F.25-1/2018(PS/Misc.) dated 28.01.2019).

Age Limit (as on 17-12-2025)

• The maximum age limit for retired teachers considered for appointment as Guest Faculty is 70 years.
