The scholarship is administered across multiple sponsoring departments - Social Welfare, Tribal Welfare, Backward Classes Welfare, Minority Welfare, Technical Education, Medical Education, and others - with different last dates for each department. How to Apply for SSP Post Matric Scholarship 2026-27 - Step by Step

  1. Visit the State Scholarship Portal homepage.
  2. If applying for the first time, click "Create New Account" (applicable to both Pre-Matric and Post-Matric students) and complete registration.

  4. Complete e-KYC before proceeding - go to the "eKYC" menu, enter your Aadhaar number, and verify using the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
  5. Step 1: Fill in your 10th standard details (SSLC/CBSE/ICSE/NIOS/KOS/IGCSE), Caste/Income Certificate details, Disability details (if applicable), and Personal details (district, taluk, assembly constituency, address, domicile status).
  6. Step 2: Fill in your present academic year college/course details and previous year result details. If your college/university academic data is linked with SSP via UUCMS/UNIDATA, these details are auto-fetched; otherwise upload the required proof documents.
  7. Step 3: Upload E-Attestation documents applicable to your case (e.g., Parent's Salary Certificate, Defence Certificate, Bonafide Certificate, SSLC/PUC marks card, previous year marks sheet) via the "Upload/View e-Attestation" module in PDF format (maximum 2MB per file).
  8. Step 4: Fill in Day Scholar or Hosteller details. Select "Day Scholar," "Community Hostel," or "Department/College/University run hostel" as applicable, and fill in the relevant hostel details.
  9. Ensure OTR (One Time Registration) is completed if applying under Social Welfare, Scheduled Tribe Welfare, or Backward Classes Welfare Department schemes - applications cannot be submitted without it.

  11. Step 5: Review all details filled in Steps 1 to 4 on the Preview screen. Confirm all details are correct, then submit the application.

Important: Once an application is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn. Wrong or incomplete details may lead to rejection by the concerned department, so applicants are strongly advised to verify all details carefully before final submission.

Students who have never registered can use the "Know NSP ID" option if they previously held an NSP (National Scholarship Portal) ID from an earlier application cycle.

How to Check SSP Post Matric Scholarship Application Status

After submitting the application, students can track their SSP scholarship status by logging into their SSP student account and checking the "Application Status" or "Track Scholarship Status" section on the dashboard.
