Eligibility Criteria - Qualification & Age Limit

Qualification: BE/B.Tech (60% aggregate) in Mechanical Engineering. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in cryogenic engineering. Age: Maximum 28 years.

Salary & Appointment Terms
Candidates wondering about appointment duration can note that for posts at Sr. Nos. 1 to 7 and 12 to 17, the initial appointment will be for 3 years including a 1-year probation period. Continuation beyond 3 years is subject to comprehensive performance review; upon successful review, the appointment continues till superannuation at age 60. Post No. 30 (Project Administrative Assistant) is a temporary, non-pensionable contract appointment, renewable annually up to a total of 3 years. All other selected candidates (Posts 1-29) will be governed by the National Pension System (NPS) unless already covered under CCS (Pension) Rules 1972.
Candidates selected for posts at Sr. Nos. 12 to 17 and 22 to 29 will be required to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays and must be prepared for shift duties as per institutional requirements.
Who Should NOT Apply
- Candidates who have completed only a part-time or correspondence degree where the notification requires a full-time degree.
- OBC candidates without a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate for the current financial year.
- Candidates who cannot produce grade-to-percentage conversion certificates from their university, where applicable.
- Candidates already in government service who are unable to obtain an NOC from their employer before the selection stage.
- Candidates for Security Guard posts who do not meet the prescribed physical standards (height, chest, eyesight).
