Eligibility requirements differ for each position under the Tripura Institution for Transformation recruitment:

• Senior Program Manager (State Innovation Mission – Tripura): Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or institution with at least 65% or equivalent CGPA in aggregate. Desirable qualifications include a postgraduate degree in Management, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Public Policy, Economics, Engineering, Technology, or a related field. Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in startup incubation, innovation, or entrepreneurship development, and/or as a founder or co-founder actively involved in building and managing a startup or enterprise.
• Senior Associate – Operations (State Innovation Mission – Tripura): Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or institution with at least 65% or equivalent CGPA in aggregate. Desirable qualifications include a postgraduate qualification in Management, Business Administration, Operations, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, or Public Administration. Requires a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in operations management, programme or project coordination, or administration in an incubator, accelerator, startup, university, engineering college, government agency, or development organisation.
• Sector Expert – Technology & Entrepreneurship: Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Engineering, MBA with specialisation in Technology Management or Innovation, or Post Graduate Diploma in Management with at least 65% or equivalent CGPA in aggregate. Requires minimum 8 years of experience relevant to the job description, preferably in technology policy, startup ecosystem development, innovation management, digital governance, e-governance initiatives, technology transfer, and incubation or acceleration programmes. Candidates must be below 45 years of age.
• Sector Expert – Industry & Trade: Masters in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Industrial Policy, MBA with specialisation in Industrial Management or International Trade, or Post Graduate Diploma in Management with at least 65% or equivalent CGPA in aggregate. Requires minimum 8 years of experience relevant to the job description, with preference for work experience in industrial policy, MSME development, trade promotion, investment facilitation, ease of doing business reforms, and industrial corridor development. Candidates must be below 45 years of age.
• Sector Expert – Economics & Finance: Masters in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, MBA in Finance, or Post Graduate Diploma in Management with specialisation in Finance or Economics with at least 65% or equivalent CGPA in aggregate. Requires minimum 8 years of experience relevant to the job description, with preference given to work experience in economic policy, public finance management, fiscal analysis, budgetary planning, economic modelling, investment analysis, and development economics. Candidates must be below 45 years of age.

Pay and Tenure

All positions carry a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs 1,00,000/- inclusive of all. The initial tenure of engagement is 11 (eleven) months, which is renewable for further periods subject to satisfactory performance, continuing institutional requirements, and approval from the Competent Authority.

TIFT Senior Program Manager Job Description

The engaged professionals will manage various responsibilities under the State Innovation Mission – Tripura and sector expert domains:

• Plan and execute end-to-end incubation, acceleration, and innovation programme cycles, including outreach, application, screening, selection, and onboarding.
• Translate Mission priorities into programme plans, calendars, milestones, and measurable outcome indicators.
• Serve as the principal day-to-day contact for participating innovators, founders, and startups; connect them with mentors, experts, investors, and ecosystem partners.
• Maintain synergy between the State Planning Department/TIFT, LKI, and NITI Aayog.
• Evaluate and assess existing strategies, methodologies, and systems to improve sectoral ecosystems in Tripura.
• Prepare development strategies, sectoral targets, socio-economic goals, and State Vision@2047 as per the State's requirements.
• Support procurement, vendor coordination, travel, venue, hospitality, and administrative arrangements in accordance with applicable Government procedures.
