Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: Master's Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry/Biotechnology/Fisheries/Botany/Zoology/Physiology/Veterinary Science/Biochemistry.
- Essential qualifications: Having Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) is mandatory as per Notification No.F.23(8)-GA(P&T)/2023 dated 7th July, 2023 of GA(P&T) Department, Tripura.
- Experience: Two (02) years’ experience in the respective field.
- Desirable qualification: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.
Salary/Stipend
- Pay Scale (Pre-revised): Pay Band-4, ₹15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay ₹5,400/-.
- Current Pay Matrix: Now pay matrix level-14 of Tripura State Pay Matrix 2018 (subject to revision by the State Government from time to time).
Age Limit (as on 07-01-2026)
- Minimum Age: Not less than 18 years as on 07.01.2026.
- Maximum Age: Not more than 40 years as on 07.01.2026.
- Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 (five) years for ST/SC/Person with Disabilities/Government servant candidates.

- General Candidates: ₹400/- (Rupees Four hundred).
- ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates: ₹350/- (Rupees three hundred & fifty) only.

Selection Process
- The Selection Process consists of 2 (two) successive stages:
- Written Examination of 170 marks (MCQ base, 3 hours).
- Viva Voce of 30 marks (including 5 marks for desirable qualification).
- Candidates will be called for Interview/Personality Test on the basis of result of the Written Test (5 candidates per 1 vacancy).
- Final selection will be made in order of merit by adding the marks obtained in the written examination and Interview/personality test.
General Information/Instructions
- Candidates need to register bio-data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission’s Website.
- Applicants must be in possession of the prescribed minimum qualification(s) on the closing date for submission of application.
- After publication of the written exam result, successful candidates will be asked to submit self-attested copies of relevant documents to the TPSC office.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the examination/interview (except as per specific TPSC norms not detailed here).
- Mobile Phones/Electronic Gadgets are banned in the Examination/Interview Premises.
- Candidates are advised to visit the Commission’s website regularly for updates.
