UCSL Executive Posts Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Details 

Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited invites online applications for the following Executive posts on permanent rolls:

Eligibility Criteria

Manager (Accommodation Outfit)

• Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical or Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering with minimum of 60% marks.
• Essential qualifications: Minimum of 9 years post qualification managerial experience in Shipbuilding, Ship repair, Offshore Installations, Marine related Engineering companies, or Government/ Semi Government Companies. Experience must be in the area of Accommodation outfitting functions.
• Desirable: Proficiency in Computer Applications like AutoCAD, SAP, MS Project, MS Office etc. Experience of working in an ERP /SAP/ computerized environment. Specialization in construction of modular accommodation design and execution.

Deputy Manager (Marine)

• Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering with minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University OR Graduation from Directorate of Marine Engineering Training (DMET) with minimum of 3rd engineer certification of competency.
• Essential qualifications: Minimum of 5 years post qualification sailing experience as marine Engineers onboard oceangoing ships with at least two years as third engineer.
• Desirable: Proficiency in Computer Applications like AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office, Primavera etc. Experience of working in an ERP/ SAP/ computerised environment.

Salary/Stipend

• Pay Scale:
  • Manager (E3): ₹60000-3%-180000
  • Deputy Manager (E2): ₹50000-3%-160000
• Monthly Total Emoluments (approx):
  • Manager: ₹1,18,400/- per month (Basic + DA + HRA + Perks & Allowances)
  • Deputy Manager: ₹98,400/- per month (Basic + DA + HRA + Perks & Allowances)
• Other benefits include PF, NPS, Gratuity, Medical expenses reimbursement, etc.

Age Limit (as on 31-12-2025)

• Maximum Age (Manager): Shall not exceed 40 years as on 31-12-2025.
• Maximum Age (Deputy Manager): Shall not exceed 35 years as on 31-12-2025.
• Relaxation: 3 Years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates in posts reserved for them. Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen also applies.

Application Fee

• General/OBC Candidates: ₹1,000/- (Non-refundable, plus bank charges extra).
• SC/ST Candidates: Exempted from payment of application fee (Nil).
• Fee must be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking).

Important Dates

Selection Process

• The method of selection shall include a Power Point Presentation (30 marks), Group Discussion (10 marks), and Personal Interview (20 marks).
• Work experience also carries marks (40 marks), for a total of 100 Marks.
• Candidates must produce original certificates at the time of verification.
• Selection process may be held at UCSL, Malpe, or interview through electronic media.

General Information/Instructions

• The posts are on permanent rolls in Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL).
• The place of posting shall be at UCSL Malpe unit/any other UCSL units/ project sites in India or abroad.
• Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
• Candidates in Government service should inform their employer in writing and upload a declaration.
• Shortlisted candidates will be informed via e-mail/website updates.
• TA/DA (single to & fro third AC Rail fare) will be reimbursed for attending the Personal Interview, on production of proof.

• Applicants need not send the online application print out/ certificates/ application fee by post.
