Eligibility Criteria
- Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical):
- Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical/ Marine Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Experience (Essential): Minimum 10 years post qualification experience in Operation and Maintenance of Marine Equipment and Systems.
- Experience (Desirable): Experience in Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance and watch keeping of ship equipment on board Indian Navy Ships. MCERA/ MCMECH/ CHERA/CHMECH/ ERA3/ MECH 3 / HA3 ranks are desirable.
- Commissioning Engineer (Electrical/ Electronics):
- Qualifications: Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Experience (Essential): Minimum 10 years post qualification experience in Operation and Maintenance of Marine Electrical/Electronic Equipment and Systems.
- Experience (Desirable): Experience in computer-based state of the art Instrumentation & weapon control on board Indian Navy Ships. MCEAP/ CHEAP/ EAP3/ CHMECH (P)/CHMECH(R) ranks are desirable.
- Commissioning Assistant (Electrician/ Shipwright/ Mechanician):
- Qualifications: X Std.
- Experience (Essential): Minimum 10 years post qualification experience in Operation and Maintenance of Marine Equipment/ Operations / Hull/and Electrical Systems.
- Experience (Desirable): Knowledge of operation and maintenance of NBCD systems will be added advantage. CHME/POME/ELR1/ELR2/CHELR/SHW1/SHW2/CHSHW ranks are desirable.

Selection Process
- The method of selection is a Walk-in selection process.
- Certificate Verification shall be conducted from 0900 Hrs to 1400 Hrs on 06 January 2026.
- Candidates who successfully complete the certificate verification shall only be allowed to attend the selection process on the same date.
General Information/Instructions
- The contract tenure for the above posts is for a period of three years, extendable by an additional two years, subject to project requirements and performance.
- The posting shall be at the UCSL Malpe Unit/any other UCSL units/project sites as desired by UCSL.
- Government of India Directives on reservation shall apply.
- The minimum qualification must be from a University/ Institute/ Examination Board recognized by AICTE/ appropriate statutory authority.
- Experience acquired after the date of passing of the stipulated qualification is considered.

- Candidates must bring original certificates and testimonials, along with self-attested copies of age proof, educational qualifications, experience, caste certificate, and Aadhaar card for verification.
- A recent passport size photograph must be pasted on the application form.
- Incomplete or unsigned applications shall not be considered.
