- For Diploma holders: Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in Ship Building/Repair, Engineering company, Offshore platform, Marine related Engineering company or Government/Semi-Government Company/Establishment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- For ITI holders: Minimum 15 years post-qualification experience in Ship Building/Repair, Engineering company, Offshore platform, Marine related Engineering company or Government/Semi-Government Company/Establishment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
