UIIC AO Eligibility Criteria 2026
Educational qualification and age are calculated as on 30 June 2026. The qualification must come from a recognised university or institute in India approved by UGC or AICTE, as applicable. Candidates whose final result was declared after 30 June 2026 are not eligible. Working knowledge of computers is mandatory.

How to Apply Online for UIIC AO Recruitment 2026
The steps below describe the process for reference. As noted above, the stated last date to apply was 28 September 2026.
- Visit the official UIIC website and open the Recruitment section.
- Open the Administrative Officer Recruitment 2026 notification and click "Apply Online".
- Select "Click here for New Registration" and enter your name, contact details and email ID.
- Note the Provisional Registration Number and Password generated by the system.
- Fill in personal, educational, category and other details, using "Save and Next" to save each section.
- Upload the photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration.
- Check everything in the Preview tab, then click Complete Registration.
- Open the Payment tab and pay the fee or service charges online.
- Submit the form, download the e-Receipt and keep a printout of the form and receipt.

UIIC AO Exam Pattern 2026
Tier I: Preliminary Exam Pattern (Generalist and Hindi Officer)
The online objective test has 100 marks and a total duration of 60 minutes. Each section is timed separately.
Tier II: Generalist Main Exam Pattern
The Generalist Descriptive Test carries 30 marks and lasts 30 minutes. It is conducted online in English right after the objective main exam: one letter (10 marks) and one essay (20 marks).
Tier II: Hindi Officer Main Exam Pattern
The Hindi Officer Descriptive Test carries 50 marks and lasts 60 minutes, with 10 marks each for an English essay, a Hindi essay, a letter in Hindi, English-to-Hindi translation and Hindi-to-English translation.
