What Candidates Need to Do Next
All candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test must complete the following within the 15-day window after result declaration, as per Rule 4.1(2) of the IES/ISS Examination Rules, 2026:
- Mandatorily log in to upsconline.nic.in during the 15-day window.
- Update educational qualification status (appearing/appeared) and upload proof of passing the qualifying examination.
- Update, where applicable: correspondence/permanent postal address, higher educational qualification, achievements, employment/service experience, details of any previously allocated IES/ISS service, marital status, PwBD recommendation details, parental details, debarment information, earlier examination details, OBC/EWS annexure, and the socio-economic questionnaire.
- Candidates who have already uploaded all required documents/information in the past and have nothing new to update must still log in and finally submit after verifying details, in order to generate the e-Summon Letter for the Personality Test.
- Failure to complete this login and submission within the window means the candidate will not be allowed to participate in further stages, and no correspondence will be entertained by the Commission on this.
Documents Required at the Time of Interview
Candidates must carry original certificates in support of their claims. Candidates are solely responsible for producing sufficient proof; failure to bring required originals means the candidate will not be permitted to appear before the Personality Test Board, and no TA will be paid.
