UPSSSC ASO/ARO Educational Qualification 2026
Educational qualifications must be fulfilled as on the last date of application (11 May 2026).
- Mandatory Academic Qualification: Post-Graduate degree or equivalent from a legally established Indian university in — Mathematics / Mathematical Statistics / Commerce / Economics / Statistics, OR any government-recognized equivalent qualification. - Mandatory Computer Qualification: 'O' Level Diploma from DOEACC/NIELIT Society OR at least one-year Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized university/institution.
- Mandatory Language: Knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script.
- Preferential (Adhimani) Qualification: Minimum 2 years service in Pradeshik Sena OR 'B' certificate of NCC.
UPSSSC ASO/ARO Selection Process 2026
The UPSSSC ASO/ARO Selection Process 2026 is a two-stage process:
- Stage 1 – Shortlisting: Based on PET-2025 normalized score. Only candidates who appeared in PET-2025 and have been issued a score card by the Commission are eligible. Candidates with zero, negative, or absent marks in PET-2025 will not be shortlisted. 15 times the number of vacancies (category-wise) will be shortlisted for the Main Exam.
- Stage 2 – Main Written Examination: 100 objective/MCQ questions, 100 marks, 2 hours duration. Negative marking: 25% (¼ mark deducted per wrong answer).
- Stage 3 – Document Verification.

- Login using your PET-2025 Registration Number and OTP sent to registered mobile/email.
- Select the posts/departments you wish to apply for and fill all mandatory details.
- Verify photo and signature (auto-populated from PET-2025 registration; cannot be changed).
- Fill other details including department preference and domicile/reservation information.
- Complete the Declaration section and submit with verification code.
- Pay the application fee (₹25) via online mode before 11 May 2026.

Important Instructions
- Only candidates who qualified PET-2025 and have been issued a score card are eligible to apply.
- Candidates NOT domiciled in UP will not get reservation benefits.
- Only one application to be submitted per advertisement.
- EWS certificate must be issued between 01-04-2026 and 11-05-2026, based on FY 2025-26 income, valid for FY 2026-27.
- OBC (non-creamy layer) certificate issued on or after 01-04-2025 only will be accepted.
- For female candidates of UP, only caste certificate issued from father's side will be accepted.
- Birth date as per High School (Class 10) certificate is the only accepted proof of DOB.
- No TA/DA will be provided for document verification.
- Exam centre, date and time will be communicated through Admit Card only; no changes in centre/date/time will be entertained.

- Application amendments allowed only up to 18 May 2026; no changes after that.
