Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive field surveys in Nanda Devi National Park
- Identify and document flora and fauna species
- Undertake sample plot studies for biodiversity assessment
- Collect accurate field data (vegetation, wildlife, environment)
- Analyze data using statistical & computational methods
- Prepare reports and deliverables on flora/faunal species
- Assist in preparation of Working Plan for the division

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification
- Master's Degree in Natural Science / Agricultural Science / M.V.Sc. from recognized university
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine or equivalent
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Field experience in forestry research & plant identification
- Expertise in forest inventory measurements
- Knowledge of GIS, GPS devices & geospatial technologies
- Physical fitness for extensive trekking in mountains
- Published research articles (preference)
- Prior experience in Forestry/Wildlife/Biodiversity research (strong preference)
