V. V. Giri National Labour Institute (VVGNLI) has notified 1 vacancy for the post of Fellow on a deputation basis for a period ordinarily not exceeding five years, with a pay scale of Level-11 Rs. 67,700-2,08,700. Candidates applying for the post must possess a Ph.D. in Social Sciences or relevant areas from a recognized University or equivalent. Who Can Apply

Candidates from the Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, autonomous or statutory organizations, PSUs, Universities, or Recognized Research Institutions must meet the following qualifications:

Essential Educational Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Social Sciences or relevant areas from a recognized University or equivalent.
• An eminent scholar with a good publication record.

Essential Deputation Criteria

Officers of the Central Government, State Government, Union Territories, autonomous or statutory organizations, PSUs, University, or Recognized Research Institution fulfilling any of the following service conditions:

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
• With five years of service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100 + GP Rs. 5,400/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or
• With six years of service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in the Pay Band-2 Rs. 9,300-34,800 and Grade Pay Rs. 4,800/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
• Possessing qualification and experience in labour-related research, training, teaching, education project coordination, and management.

Desirable Qualifications

• Proven ability in different areas of pedagogic analysis.
• Proven capacity in creating labour information on/skills sets.
• Research papers in reputed journals and/or major national and/or international seminars.
• Proven record of organizing/coordinating research teams.
