WCD Odisha Anganwadi Worker And Helper Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details 

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Minimum 10th (Matriculation)/ 12th standard pass.

• Residency: Must be a permanent resident of the same ward/village where the Anganwadi center is located.

• Marital Status: Preference is given to married women, but unmarried women can apply if no suitable married candidates are available. Additional priority for widows, divorced, or separated women.

• Other: Women only; must not be employed in any government or semi-government job. Physically and mentally fit.

• Knowledge of the Odia language is mandatory.

 Age Limit

• Candidates must be permanent residents of the local area and aged between 18 and 35 Years.
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Salary: 

• Anganwadi Helper: The position is honorary (volunteer-based) with no regular salary, only an honorarium of ₹3,000 per month.
• Anganwadi Worker: A monthly allowance of ₹10,000/- will be provided, which is subject to change over time.
