Name of the Post:
1. Fireman: 120 post
2. Security Guard: 241 posts

Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18-30 years as on the date of notification given for direct recruitment. Upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 5 years for SC/ST/BC candidates and also for the candidates claiming as Land loosers.

Educational Qualifications:

A. For General Recruitment Candidates: Intermediate or equivalent examination recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh including mere appearance for first and Second year examination of Intermediate in-respect of SC/ST candidates.

B. For Land Loosers: Intermediate/ SSC + ITI 2 years’ duration course.

Application Fee: Rs.500/- (Rs.350/- for examination fee plus Rs.150/- towards application registration fee) for OC candidates and candidates belonging to other states. In respect of SC/ST/BC it shall be Rs.150/- towards application registration fee. Prescribed Registration Fee must be paid in any one of the AP Online Centers or AP Online Portal on or before 25-05-2013.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test for General Recruitment & Only PET for Land Loosers.

How to Apply: Candidates have to apply through the APGENCO website http://www.apgenco.gov.in, http://apgenco.cgg.gov.in from 27-04-2013 to 25-05-2013. Candidates applying for the posts under Land Loosers quota shall submit one copy of online application along with attested copies of certificates SSC, ITI (2 years duration course), Community, Physical Fitness Certificate along with necessary records must be sent by Registered Post to Joint Secretary (Per), APGENCO, R.No.252, ‘A’ Block, 2nd Floor, Vidyut Soudha, Khairatabad, Hyderabad – 500082 on or before 01-06-2013.
