CIMAP Recruitment 2013 – Technician, Technical Officer & Asst Posts: CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP) invites applications for the recruitment of Senior Technical Officer, Technical Assistant and Technician posts. 1. Senior Technical Officer: 01 Post
2. Technical Assistant
i. Technical Assistant (Physics): 02 Posts
ii. Technical Assistant (Agriculture): 04 Posts
iii. Technical Assistant (Electrical): 01 Post
3. Technician (Masonary): 01 Post
Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 40 years for S.No 1 Post; 28 years for S.No 2, 3 Posts as on 28-06-2013. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent in Cosmetic Technology with 55% marks for S.No 1 Post; B.Sc in Physics/ Agriculture from recognized university for S.No i, ii Posts; 10+2 with Science subjects followed by Diploma in Electrical Engineering for S.No iii Post; 10th Standard with Science subjects with 55% marks plus ITI Certificate in Masonary work for S.No 3 Post with relevant experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview.
Application Fee: Candidates must pay the fee of Rs.100/- in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Director, Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Lucknow” payable at Lucknow on or before 28-06-2013 by 5.00 PM. SC/ ST/ PH/ Women/ CSIR Employees are exempted from the fee.
Application Form: Candidates can obtain prescribed application from the Controller of Administration, CIMAP, Post Office – CIMAP (Near Kukrail Picnic Spot) Lucknow-226015, UP, India by sending a self-addressed envelope indicating name of the post applied for and affixing a postal stamp worth Rs.10/- by 25-06-2013 or can be downloaded free from www.cimap.res.in.
How to Apply: Interested candidates can send applications in the prescribed format along with Demand Draft (mention name, category and post code applied for on the back side of DD), attested copies of all relevant certificates, community certificate to the Controller of Administration, CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, P.O. CIMAP, Lucknow-226015 on or before 28-06-2013.

As per the notification candidates must possess first class B.Sc in Agriculture from recognized university with one year full time professional qualification in Computer application from a recognized Institute / Organization in order to apply for the post of Technical Assistant (Agriculture) in CIMAP.

As per the notification the candidates who completed M.Sc Physics are eligible to apply for the above vacancies. But the last date for applying is already over.

As per the notification, for the candidates with diploma in computer applications are desirable and first class in B.Sc with Botany and Chemistry are Essential qualifications inorder to apply for the post of Technical Assistant (planning & project Monitoring)
