I. Fabrication Assistants:
1. Sheet Metal Worker: 147 posts
2. Welder: 53 posts
II. Outfit Assistants:
3. Fitter Pipe (Plumber): 116 posts
4. Diesel Mechanic: 37 posts
5. Instrument Mechanic: 14 posts
6. Electrician: 38 posts
7. Electronic Mechanic: 07 posts
8. Shipwright Wood: 06 posts
9. Painter: 26 posts
III. Crane Operator:
10. Crane Operator (EOT Cranes): 04 posts
Age Limit: Candidates Age shall not exceed 30 years as on 30-04-2013. Age is Relax able by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess SSLC, ITI (NTC, NAC in Relevant Trade) along with experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Practical Test and Interview from 15-04-2013 to 30-04-2013 at Cochin Shipyard Indoor Stadium, Thevara.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through www.cochinshipyard.com from 08-04-2013 to 20-04-2013. Candidates must bring 2 copies of Print out of online application, two photographs, Original Certificates and testimonials, in proof of age, caste, educational qualifications, experience etc and attested copies of the certificates, PWD Certificates, Tight fitting cotton working dress and safety shoes for attending the practical test/ interview on below mentioned dates.

1. Assistant General Manager (Painting): 01 Post
2. Deputy Manager (Painting): 02 Posts
Age Limit: Upper age limit of candidate is 45 years for AGM and 35 years for Deputy Manager as on 31-03-2013. Relaxation is allowed as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess Degree/ Diploma in any branch of Engineering/ Paint Technology or Degree in Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University and NACE-Level-II Inspector or NBPI or FROSIO Level III (RED) Inspector with relevant experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on group discussion/ interview.
Application Fee: Candidates must pay the fee of Rs.300/- in the form of a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of Cochin Shipyard Limited on any Nationalized Bank payable at Kochi. SC/ ST/ PWD candidates are exempted from the fee.
How to Apply: Interested candidates need to send applications in the prescribed format downloadable from the website www.cochinshipyard.com along with DD in original, recent passport size photograph affixed, attested copies of supportive certificates to prove age, qualifications, mark lists, caste etc by super scribing the post applied for on the envelope must reach the General Manager (HR), Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi-15 on or before 30-04-2013. Original certificates must be produced at the time of interview for verification.
