CWE Exam 2012 – Online Application for Clerks in 20 Public Sector Banks: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection – IBPS has asking online applications from qualified and eligible candidates for filling up of the Clerical Cadre vacancies in 20 Public Sector Banks. Those who are eligible candidates have to apply through online from 15-10-2012 to 05-11-2012. The details regarding age limit, educational qualification, application fee details, how to apply and other details of CWE Exam is given below…

IBPS Conducting  a Common Written Examination (CWE) for selection of personnel for Clerical Cadre Vacancies in the following Public Sector Banks mentioned below.

Cuttoff Score: Candidate will have  to secure a minimum score in each of the tests to qualify in the written test.

CWE Exam Details:

Name of the Post: Clerical Cadre.

Age limit: The candidate’s age limit is minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 01-10-2012, age relaxation as per rules.

Educational qualification:
1. Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
2. Computer literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory.
3. Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

Application Fee: Rs. 400/- for general candidates and Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates. Fee must be paid through online mode or offline mode.

Selection procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Online Exam conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

How to apply: The eligible and qualified candidates have to apply through online from the www.ibps.in website between 15-10-2012 to 05-11-2012. No other mode of application will be accepted. The candidates follow the user guideline and instructions at the time of online apply.

Instructions for online apply:
1. Before apply online candidates scan their photograph and signature.
2. Candidates have a valid personal e-mail ID, incase candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, they should create new e-mail ID, before applying online, because all the details send to the e-mail ID.
3. Candidates ready to keep the application fee details, incase of cash payment through NEFT branches, candidates keep the necessary details in order to make online payment.
4. Candidates are first required to go to the website www.ibps.in and click on the home page to open link Common Written Examination (Clerks).
5. Candidates are ready to apply online by clicking on the option Click Here to Apply Online for CWE – Clerical Cadre to open up the online application form.
6. Candidates should carefully fill the details in the online application form at the appropriate places and upload their photograph and signature as per instructions.
7. After upload the photograph and signature, a registration number and password will be generated, candidates should note down the registration number and password for future reference.
8. After successfully submission of online application candidates should immediately take a print out of the system generated online application form for future reference and also take a printout of the system generated fee payment challan immediately and make payment at 7 Public Sector Banks as mentioned in the notification.

      As per the notification the written exam will be conducted online. The candidates need to write the written exam online.

      As per the notification the payment has to be done after the 2 working days and before 3 working days from the date of submitting the application.

      As per the notification the candidates can edit the application only before paying the fees. The application cannot be modified after the payment of application fees.

      As per the notification the candidates who completed Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government and who have Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in computer operations/ Language/ who have studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ College/ Institute are only eligible to apply for the IBPS CWE for the post of Clerks.

      The candidates can take the reprint of the E-receipt by clicking on the link “Ereceipt Reprint (only for Online Payment Mode” which is under Apply online link by submitting the registration no and the password.

      As per the notification the cut-off points to qualify in each of the tests will be decided based on the average (Average – 1/4 standard Deviation for General category candidates and Average – 3/4 Standard Deviation for Reserved Category candidates) for the IBPS CWE for the post of clerks.

      As per the notification the candidates who have born on or after 01-01-1992 are only eligible to apply for the IBPS CWE for the post of Clerks.

    Sir, i have completed BE in computer science. In the application form there are 4 options of which 1 option i should tick.
    1.Certificate in Comp operations/language
    2.Degree in Comp operations/language
    3.Diploma
    4.Studied comp as a subject in high school/college/institute
    Shall i choose degree should i choose comp. operations/ language or which option should i choose.

      As per the notification the candidates after filling the application have to pay the fee after two working days from the date of filling the application and before 3 working days.

      As per the notification the fees can be paid in two modes i.e. Online Mode and Offline Mode:
      1)Online Mode: The candidates have to select the online payment option while filling the form and can make payment using Master/ Visa debit or credit cards or by internet banking.
      2)Offline Mode: The candidates need to select the offline payment option and can pay the fees in any for the branches of the 7 public sector banks given in the notification. The amount is to be payed after 2 working days from the date of filling the application and before 3 working days.

      As per the notification the application fees is to be payed only by taking the challan form in any of the banks, whose list is given in the notification. The payment is not to be done in the form of DD.
