East Central Railway Recruitment 2013 – Scouts & Guide Quota Vacancies: East Central Railway (ECR) invites applications for the Recruitment under Scouts & Guide Quota for the year 2013-14. I. Group C posts:
A. In Headquarter Office of E.C.Railway:
1. Grade pay Rs. 1900/ Rs. 2000: 02 Posts
II. Group D Posts:
B. In 05-Divisions of ECR
2. Grade Pay Rs. 1800/: 02 Posts
Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18-30 years for Group C Posts & 18-33 years for Group D Posts as on 01-01-2014. Upper age limit relaxation of 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for Physically Challenged Persons.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess Matriculation and its equivalent, A President ‘s Scout/Guide Ranger/Rover, an active member of Scouts Organization for at least 03 years in the recent past and should continue to be active, attended at least one event at National Level and one or two events at State Level.
Examination Fee: Applicants need to pay Rs. 40/- as examination fees. Fee can be paid in the form of IPO in favour of “FA & CAO, East Central Railway” & payable at Hajipur. Female/SC / ST, PWD, Minorities and Ex-Serviceman are exempted from Examination Fee.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, Scout & Guide Qualification over and above the minimum prescribed eligibility condition and Personality Test/ Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates need to download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach 02 photographs, IPO, super scribe “Application against Scouts & Guide Quota”, Employment Notice No. & Community on the top of the envelope and send along with relevant documents in support of age, Educational Qualification and participation certificate in scouting activities for their eligibility attested by Gazette officer to the respective address as mentioned in the notification on or before 24-06-2013.

Last Date for Receipt of Application (far flung areas): 08-07-2013
Date for Written Test: 01-09-2013.

As per the notification candidates must possess Matriculation and its equivalent and should be a Presidents Scout/ Guide ranger/Rover or Himalayan Wood Badge Holder and should have been active member of Scouts Organization for at least three years in the recent past and should continue to be active, attended at least one event at National level and one or two events at State level in order to apply for Group C and Group D posts in East Central Railway.

As per notification in East central Railway The normal age for the recruitment is 18-30 years reckoned as on 01.07.2012.For persons with Disabilities(PWD)–10 years for UR,13 years for OBC and 15 years for SC/ST candidates.
