HSTSB Recruitment 2012 – Apply Online for 9870 Primary Teacher Posts: Haryana School Teachers Selection Board (HSTSB), Department of Elementary Education, Haryana has issued notification against recruitment of 9870 Primary Teachers (Group-C Post) Vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply through Online mode on or before 08-12-2012 upto 5.00 PM. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, application fee details, selection process and how to apply are given below…
HSTSB Vacancy Details:
Total No of Vacancies: 9870
Name of the Post: Primary Teacher (Group – C post)
District Cadre Post Except District Mewat: 8763 posts
District Cadre Post for Mewat Only: 1107 posts
Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 40 years as on last date for submission of application form. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification:
i. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
ii. Candidate must have qualified Certificate of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) / School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) of Haryana or having Four years teaching experience as Primary Teachers as One time exemption of HTET/STET.
iii. Matriculation with Hindi/ Sanskrit or 10+2/ B.A/ M.A with Hindi as one of the subject.
Application Fee Details: General candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 300/- and SC/BC candidates of Haryana need to pay Rs. 75/- in the form of Challan. The fee should be deposited in any branch of State Bank of India 48 hours after registration of application form with CDAC Mohali. (Fee for ESM and PHC candidates of Haryana is exempted).
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of on the basis of academic criteria or percentage or Written Exam, Interview and Document Verification.
How to Apply: Candidates need to apply online on website http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in from 08-11-2012 to 08-12-2012. After submission of online application, candidates are advised to note the registration number & password immediately after generated by the system and take printout of the Registration Slip & Fee Challan.
Instructions for Online Application:
1. Log on to http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in and select the Apply Online link below the HSTSB link.
2. Select ‘New Registration’ link if you are applying for the first time followed by Ok button to ensure that Instructions have been read carefully.
3. Fill all the marked details carefully, check once for errors and click on ‘Proceed’ button.
4. Fill all mandatory details in the next page too and Submit the application.
5. Take print out of Application Form and retain it to be brought at the time of Written Test and Interview.

As per the notification the candidates must qualify HTET/STET
Or 4years experience in teaching as a primary teacher are only eligible to apply for PRT in HSTSB.
I have qualified htet exam and i live in delhi and i dint have any residence proof of haryana do i need any residence proof of haryana.

As per the notification, the candidates who possess the prescribed qualification & who qualify in HTET are eligible to apply for primary teacher, and no information is available whether the candidate need to require residential proof or not.
i am b.A.-56% & bed 71% and qualified htet. can i apply for these vacancies?

As per the notification an applicant can apply only once for a particular category of post in the first advertisement for the vacancies in HSTSB.

I qualified uptet and B.Ed. please tell me am i eligible to apply?

As per the notification the candidates who completed B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education and who have qualified HTET/ STET/ having Four years teaching experience as Primary Teachers as One time exemption of HTET/STET and Matriculation with Hindi/ Sanskrit or 10+2/ B.A/ M.A with Hindi as one of the subject are only eligible to apply for the Primary Teacher (Group – C post) posts in HSTSB.
