ISRO Recruitment 2012 – Apply Online for Scientist/Engineer Vacancies: Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has issued notification against recruitment of 7 Scientist and Engineer Vacancies in one of its units Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS). Eligible candidates must apply online on or before 29-05-2012. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, application fee details, selection process and how to apply are given below…
ISRO Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 07
Names of Posts:
1. Scientist/Engineer-SD (Atmospheric Sciences)
2. Scientist/Engineer-SD (Engineering Geology/ Geotechnical Engineering)
3. Scientist/Engineer-SD (Ecology)
4. Scientist/Engineer-SD (Urban Planning)
5. Scientist/Engineer-SC (Geophysics)
6. Scientist/Engineer-SC (Hydrological modeling)
7. Scientist/Engineer – SC (Geoinformatics)
Age Limit: Candidates’ age is 35 years for the post of Scientist/Engineer-SC and there is no age limit for Scientist/Engineer-SD post. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-03-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates are asked to refer to the notification for the details of post wise required educational qualification.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Test and Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates need to apply online for the desired post and after submission of application candidates must take print of application form and send it by speed post to the following address, Administrative Officer (Personnel), Indian Institute Of Remote Sensing (Isro), 4, Kalidas Road, Dehradun 248001, Uttarakhand.
Instructions for Online Application:
1. Log on to www.iirs.gov.in and select the ‘Recruitment’ link.
2. Select the link Apply Online.
3. Fill all marked details and click on Submit Form button.
4. After submission system will generate Registration No, take note of it.
5. Take print of Form and send it by post to the address mentioned above along with copies of all relevant certificates.

Last Date for Online Registration: 29-05-2012
Last Date for Receipt of Application: 04-06-2012

To join in ISRO the candidates age must be 35 years of age and minimum qualification is post graduation in relevant discipline.
