Jharkhand Postal Circle Recruitment 2012 – 109 Postal & Sorting Asst Vacancies: Jharkhand Postal Circle has issued notification against recruitment of 109 Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant Vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 01-10-2012. Jharkhand Postal Circle Vacancy Details:
Total No of Vacancies: 109
Names of Posts:
1. Postal Assistant – 85 vacancies
2. Sorting Assistant – 14 vacancies
3. Postal Assistant (MMS Ranchi) – 01 vacancy
4. Postal Assistant (SBCO Jharkhand Circle) – 09 vacancies
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 18 to 27 years as on 01-10-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess 10+2 Standard or 12th Class pass with at least 60 % marks and above from any recognized University with English as a compulsory subject and should have studied local language of the State or Union Teritory of the Postal Circle concerned or Hindi as Subject at least in Matriculation or equivalent.
Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay Examination Fee of Rs. 200/- (No fee for SC/ST/PH and Women candidates) and it should be deposited in a Post Office of the circle and obtain ACG-67/UCR receipt, Rs. 50/- for Application form and it is available at all All Head Post offices and identified Post offices in the Circles from 11-08-2012 to 25-09-2012.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Aptitude Test, Typing Test/Computer Test.
How to Apply: Eligible Candidates may apply through prescribed application format available at all Head Post offices and identified Post offices in the Circles. Dully filled application form along with Copies of relevant certificates and original receipt of ACG-67/UCR issued by the identified Post Office of this Circle towards payment of Examination fee have to be sent to “Direct Recruitment Cell, New Delhi HO, New Delhi-110001″ on or before 01-10-2012 through Speed Post/Registered Post of India Post only.

You have to register your details in the official web site of Indian postal department which is http://www.indiapost.gov.in and the application format with the details will be sent to your email id. But the last date for registration is 25-09-2012.

As per the notification the candidates must possess a minimum of 60% marks in 10+2 standard to apply for the vacancies in Jharkhand postal circle.
Sir, I have got 60% marks in 12th but I had chosed English subject in elective, I want to know that I am elligible for this post or not please assure me timely.

Sir,i would like to know that as i did my matriculation from C.B.S.E board,i had sanskrit instead of hindi in 9th and 10th std,hindi was my subject till std 8th.so am i eligible to apply for this post??I had an option so i chose sanskrit but now it becomes difficult for mr to apply in such posts.Sir,please guide me??
