Karnataka Postal Circle Recruitment 2012 – 251 Postal & Sorting Asst Vacancies: Karnataka Postal Circle has issued notification for recruitment of 251 Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant Vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 01-10-2012. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, application fee details, selection process and how to apply are given below…
Karnataka Postal Circle Vacancy Details:
Total No of Vacancies: 251
Names of Posts:
1. Postal Assistants in Post Offices: 207 posts
2. Sorting Assistant: 15 posts
3. Postal Assistant in Savings Bank Control Organization: 29 posts
Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 27 years as on 01-10-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess 10+2 Standard or 12th Class pass with at least 60 % marks and above from any recognized University with English as a compulsory subject and should have studied local language of the State or Union Territory of the Postal Circle concerned or Hindi as Subject at least in Matriculation or equivalent.
Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay Examination Fee of Rs. 200/- (No fee for SC/ST/PH and Women candidates) and it should be deposited in a Post Office of the circle and obtain ACG-67/UCR receipt, Rs. 50/- for Application form and it is available at all All Head Post offices and identified Post offices in the Circles from 11-08-2012 to 25-09-2012.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Aptitude Test, Typing Test/Computer Test.
How to Apply: Eligible Candidates may apply through prescribed application format available at all Head Post offices and identified Post offices in the Circles. Dully filled application form along with Copies of relevant certificates and original receipt of ACG-67/UCR issued by the identified Post Office of this Circle towards payment of Examination fee have to be sent to “Direct Recruitment Cell, New Delhi HO, New Delhi-110001 on or before 01-10-2012 through Speed Post/Registered Post of India Post only.

As per the notification the pay scale is Rs. 5200 to 20200 with a grade pay of 2400 and admissible allowances.
