Directorate of Civil Defence & Home Guards Shillong Jobs 2018 – 229 Inspector, Driver & Other Posts: Govt. of Meghalaya, Directorate of Civil Defence & Home Guards, Shillong has published a notification for the recruitment of 229 Sub-Inspector, Draftsman, Compounder/ Dresser, Guardsman, Driver & Non Combatant Employees (who are trained Home Guards, Civil Defence volunteers) vacancies on contract basis. Total No. of Posts: 229
Name of the Posts:
1. Sub-Inspector: 20 Posts
2. Draftsman: 01 Post
3. Compounder/ Dresser: 01 Post
4. Guardsman: 180 Posts
5. Driver: 10 Posts
6. Non-Combatant Employees: 17 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be 20-27 years for S.No-01, 02, 03, 18-27 years for S.No-04, 05, 06. Age Relaxation of 05 years is applicable for SC/ ST candidates as per govt policy.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Bachelors Degree in any Stream from a recognized University/ Institution for S.No-01, Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute for S.No-02, Diploma in Nursing from a recognized Institute for S.No-03, Class X pass for S.No-04, Class-X Passed with valid HMV/ LMV driving license issued by the competent authority for S.No-05, Class VIII Pass for S.No-06.
Selection Process: Candidates will be called for PET, PMT, written test, driving test & interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their application form (available at concerned offices from 15-01-2018 by paying Rs. 50/-) along with relevant certificates, 3 (three) copies of recent passport size photograph, self-addressed stamped envelope (size 10 x 24 CM) along with 5/- postage by post or hand on or before 15-02-2018.
