MoEF Recruitment 2017 – Scientist Posts: Government of India, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF) has published a notification for the recruitment of Scientist F, D, C, B. E level vacancies on Direct Recruitment basis. Eligible Indian Citizens can apply in the prescribed application format on or before 04-12-2017 & for remote areas on or before 19-12-2017. D. Scientist ‘B’ (MoEF – OBC): 01 Post
E. Scientist ‘B’ (ZSI – UR): 03 Posts
F. Scientist ‘E’ (NRCD – OBC): 02 Posts
G. Scientist ‘D’ (NRCD – OBC): 01 Post
H. Scientist ‘B’ (NRCD – ST): 01 Post

Age limit: Candidate upper age limit for the posts of Scientist ‘B’& ‘C’ is 35 years, for Scientist ‘D’ is 40 years, for Scientist ‘E’ is 45 years & for Scientist ‘F’ is 50 years. Age relaxation is admissible for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically Handicapped and Ex Serviceman as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree or  Doctorate in Civil Engineering, Doctorate or Masters Degree in Environment Science for Post-A, M.Sc, Ph.D in Wildlife Science for Post-B, Bachelor’s Degree or Doctorate in Environmental Engineering, Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Forestry, Bachelor’s Degree or Doctorate in Mining Engineering, Bachelor’s Degree or Doctorate in Chemical Engineering, Masters or Doctorate in Environment Science for Post-C, Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Chemistry for Post-D, Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Chemistry for Post-E & with relevant experience. Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Application fees of Rs. 100/- by crossed bank draft drawn in favour of Drawing & Disbursing Officer, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, payable at New Delhi. No fee for Women/ SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their application in prescribed format along with self addressed post-card, attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications, research/ work experience, age, bank draft in original to Section Officer (P.III), Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, 1st Floor, Block- Prithvi, Indira Paryavaran Bhawan, Jor Bagh Road, Aliganj, New Delhi – 110 003 on or before 04-12-2017 & for remote areas on or before 19-12-2017. Applications should be sent in a cover superscribed as “Application for the post of Scientist “—–“in the “—–“ vide Advertisement No.01/02/2017-P.III”.

      As per the notification candidates should have Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from a recognized University/ Institute or Doctorate in Environmental Science from a recognized University/ Institute in order to apply for the post of Scientist ‘B’ (NRCD) in MoEF.

      As per the notification candidates can send their application in prescribed format along with supporting documents to the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Central), Government of India, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, North Eastern Regional Office, Law-U-Sib, Lumbatngen, Shillong-793 021, Meghalaya to apply for Multi Tasking Staff post in MoEF.
