MoEF Recruitment 2017 – Scientist Posts: Government of India, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF) has advertised a notification for the recruitment of Scientist ‘ D’ & ‘C’ level vacancies on Direct Recruitment basis. Eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed application format on or before 09-06-2017 & for remote areas on or before 04-07-2017. 4. ZSI – (Invertebrate) RESERVED FOR PH- (VH/ HH/ OH): 01 Posts
B. Scientist ‘C’: 02 Posts
5. ZSI- (Invertebrate) [UR]: 01 Post
6. ZSI- (Vertebrate) [UR]: 01 Post

Age limit: Candidate upper age limit for the posts of Scientist ‘C’ is 35 years, and for Scientist ‘D’ is 40 years. Age relaxation is admissible for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically Handicapped and Ex Serviceman as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess M.Sc. in Wildlife Sciences with 7 years of experience out of which at least 3 1/2 years should be in work related to wildlife conservation and management or Ph.D. in Wildlife Sciences with 4 years of experience out of which at least 3 1/2 years should be in work related to wildlife conservation and management for S.No-1, 2, Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from a Recognized University/Institute with 7 years of working experience in the field of Environmental Pollution Control or Environmental Impact Assessment or Management of Hazardous Substances or Management of Bio-diversity or Conservation and Survey or Doctorate in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from a Recognized University/Institute with 4 years of working experience in the field of Environmental Pollution Control or Environmental Impact Assessment or Management of Hazardous Substances or Management of Bio-diversity or Conservation and Survey for S.No-3, Doctorate in Zoology/ Marine Biology/ Environmental Science/ Bio-technology for S.No-4, Master’s Degree in Zoology/ Marine Biology/ Environmental Science/Bio-technology from a Recognized University/ Institute with 3 years experience in Taxonomy, Morphology, Ecology and Zoo-Geography of animals from an industrial or academic institution or scientific and technological organization or Doctorate in Zoology/ Marine Biology/ Environmental Science/ Bio-technology for S.No-5 & 6 Posts.

      As per the notification candidates can send their application in prescribed format along with supporting documents to the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Central), Government of India, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, North Eastern Regional Office, Law-U-Sib, Lumbatngen, Shillong-793 021, Meghalaya to apply for Multi Tasking Staff post in MoEF.
