NIOT Recruitment 2015 – Apply Online for Scientist Posts: National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Earth System Sciences Organisation (ESSO), Ministry of Earth Sciences has given employment notification for the recruitment of Scientist-C (Mechanical Engineering) vacancies on regular basis. Eligible candidates can apply online on or before 16-01-2015 & send their hard copy of application on or before 23-01-2015 & 30-01-2015 for remote areas. NIOT Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Posts: 01
Name of the Posts: Scientist-C (Mechanical Engineering)

Age Limit: Candidates maximum age should be below 40 years. Age Relaxable as per orders issued by Central Government from time to time.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or its equivalent with atleast 60% marks in the qualifying degree level with three years experience in Research & Development, Survey, Planning, etc.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online through the website “www.niot.res.in” on or before 16-01-2015. Candidates can send their duly signed hard copy affixing a latest passport size photograph along with self attested copies of certificates on educational & professional qualifications, date of birth, experience, age relaxation etc., in an envelope should be superscribed as “Application for the post of Scienist-C (Mechanical)” to The Director, National Institute of Ocean Technology, Velachery – Tambaram Main Road, Pallikaranai, Chennai-600 100 on or before 23-01-2015 & 30-01-2015 for remote areas.

Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Log on to the website “www.niot.res.in”.
2. Click on the “Recruitment –> current vacancies”.
3. Select the desired post & click on the link “NIOT/E&P/011(REGULAR)/2014″.
4. Click on the link “Online Recruitment Registration”.
5. Click on the Link “Apply Online”.
6. Fill all the details of application form & upload the scanned Photograph in jpeg format only.
7. Click on “Submit” button.
8. After Submission, take printout of application & send it mentioned address in how o apply.

Important Dates:
Last Date to Apply Online: 16-01-2015.
Last Date for Receipt of Hard Copy of Application: 23-01-2015.
Last Date for Receipt of Hard Copy of Application for Remote Areas: 30-01-2015.

      As per the notification candidates who possess M.Sc with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Physical Oceanography/ Physics/ Oceanography with two years relevant experience are eligible for the post of Senior Research Fellow in NIOT, but the date of Interview is already over.

      As per the notification candidates candidates who possess Diploma in Electronics after 10+2 with 60% marks or its equivalent qualification from a recognized board or University are eligible for the post of Scientific Assistant Grade A in NIOT Recruitment.
