Total Number of Vacancies: 69
Name of the Post: Assistant Professor
Age Limit: Candidates age should be below 30/ 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per GOI norms.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess M.Tech/ Ph.D with desired experience as per the post.
Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of performance in interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format which can be downloaded from the www.nith.ac.in website, fill all the details in the application form, attach photo, attest signature and along with attested copies of documents should be reach to the Office of the Registrar, NIT, Hamirpur (HP)-177005 on or before 15-03-2013.

Yes as per the notification the Diploma holders are eligible for the post of Technicians on contract basis in NIT,but the last date to apply is already over.
