Name of Posts: Assistant Professor
A. ST: 05 posts
B. OBC: 04 posts
C. PWD: 02 posts

Age Limit: Candidate age must be below 30 years for contract post and 35 years for regular.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess M.Tech for contract post and Ph.D for regular post.

Application Fee Details: Candidates need to pay Rs. 300/- for OBC and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/PWD for male candidates and Rs.150/- for OBC and Rs. 75/- for SC/ST/PWD for female candidates in the form of Demand Draft in favor of Director, NIT, Silchar.

Selection Process: Selections will be made on the basis of performance in Interview.

How to Apply: Candidates need to take print out of application form available in the notification or can be downloaded from the website www.nits.ac.in Fill the application, attach photograph, attest signature, and send it along with demand draft, copies of age, caste, PWD & educational qualification certificates to the Registrar, NIT, Silchar-788010 (Assam), on or before 28-02-2013.
