PSCWB Recruitment 2012 – 114 Various Vacancies: West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has issued notification against recruitment of 114 various vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 15-05-2012. WBPSC Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 114
Names of Posts:
1. Inspector of Factories (Medical) – 04 vacancies
2. Veterinary Officer – 100 vacancies
3. Assistant Engineer (Electrical) – 10 vacancies
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be below 35 years for post 1 and below 32 years for remaining two. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-01-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates need to have Medical Qualification, Degree in Veterinary Science and Degree in Electrical Engineering for each post respectively according to serial number.
Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay application fee of Rs. 210/- in form of Indian Postal Order crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by a receipted Challan from Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Screening Test, Written Test and Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates need to download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it along with payment receipt and copies of all relevant certificates, to the following address, Public Service Commission, West Bengal 161-A, S.P. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata – 700 026 on or before 15-05-2012.
