SAIL Raw Materials Division – 47 Mining Foreman, Mining Mate Posts 2013: Raw Materials Division (RMD), the controlling unit of captive mines of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) – a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise and the leading steel-making company in India, invites applications for filling up of 47 Mining Foreman, Mining Mate Vacancies in its various mines. Eligible Candidates can apply through prescribed application format on or before 06-07-2013. Age Limit: Candidates maximum age must be 28 years as on 01-03-2013. Relaxations will be as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess Matriculation and Diploma in Mining along with Mining Foreman’s Certificate of Competency under MMR 1961 from the Competent Authority for post 1, Matriculation along with Mining Mate’s Certificate of Competency under MMR 1961 from the Competent Authority for post 2.
Application Fee: General and OBC Candidates must pay Rs.270/-(inclusive bank charges) and SC/ST Candidates must pay Rs.70/- (inclusive bank charges) as Processing fee through SBI branch in the specially opened account no. 32469839252 for the credit of/ for the credit of bank account of “Steel Authority of India Limited-RMD”.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and interview.
How to Apply: Candidates must apply through prescribed application format along with all relevant documents, attach photo, attest signature, DD should be sent in sealed envelope mentioning the post applied for, super scribed on the envelope, so as to reach latest by 06-07-2013 to the designated authorities of the mines as given in the notification.

As per the notification candidates who possess Post Graduation in Environmental Sciences/ Forest Management/ Wild Life Management are eligible for the post of Manager (Forest & Environment)and the Candidates who have M.Sc in Forestry or M.Sc in Environmental Sciences /Environment Management are eligible for the post of Junior Manager (Forest&Environment)in SAIL.

As per the notification the candidates must possess Three year full time Diploma in Engineering in the following fields / Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Chemical/ Mining with mines survey certificate are only eligible for the post of OCT in SAIL.Candidates must attain this qualification on or before 30-6-2012.
