Names of the Posts:
1. Professor: 27 Posts
2. Associate Professor: 55 Posts
3. Assistant Professor: 50 Posts

Educational Qualifications: Candidates should possess Ph.D/ CA/ Masters Degree with at least 55% marks in concerned subject with NET/ SET/ SLET with desired experience in relevant field as per the post by AIU/ recognized by the AICTE/ UGC. Refer the notification for post wise educational qualification details.

Application Fee: Candidates has to pay the application fee of Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ ST/ DA candidates) in the form of demand draft, drawn in favour of the Sikkim University, by any authorized/nationalized bank and payable at their Gangtok Branch only.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in prescribed format with attested copies of certificates along with all documents, by super scribing the top of the envelope with the “Name of the Post Applied for___”, to The Registrar, Sikkim University, 6th Mile, Samdur, P.O. Tadong, Gangtok-737102, Sikkim on or before 17-06-2013.

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 57 years for Post No.1, 2 & 3, 55 years for Post No.4, 45 years for Post No.5, 35 years for Post No.6 & 7, 30 years for Post No.8, 25 years for Post No.9 and 28 years for Post No.10. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates should possess Master’s degree from a UGC-recognized University with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent, Members of Institute of Chartered Accountants/Cost & Works Accountants or MBA (Finance) from a reputed management institute, Persons belonging to organized Central Accounts/ Audit Services holding an analogous post or having served in immediate lower post for at least three years, B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a UGC/AICTE- recognized University/ Institution MBA/PG Diploma in Management or LL.B or CA/ICWA or MCA or M.Phil/ Ph.D qualification.
