Tea Board of India Recruitment 2013 – Various Vacancies: Tea Board of India, North Eastern Zonal Office has issued notification for the recruitment of 29 Development Officer, Stenographer, Assistant Accountant and Assistant vacancies. 1. Development Officer: 18 Posts
2. Factory Advisory Officers: 06 Posts
3. Special Grade Stenographer: 01 Post
4. Assistant Accountant: 01 Post
5. Assistant: 03 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age not exceeding 32 years for Development Officers, Asst Accountant & Assistant Posts, not exceeding 35 years for Factory Advisory Officers, not below 27 years and not more than 32 years for Stenographer Posts as on 31-01-2013. Relax able for reserved categories as per relevant Central Govt Orders.

Educational Qualification: Graduate in Science/Agriculture for Development Officers, Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Agriculture Engineering with two years experience for FAO Posts, Degree with 120 words per minute in shorthand and 40 words per minute in typewriting for Stenographer Post, Degree in Commerce with proficiency Tally for Asst Accountant and Any Degree for Assistant Posts.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs. 100/- of IPO/Bank Draft in favour of Tea Board payable at Jorhat (Candidates belonging to SC/ST are exempted from paying the fee subject to production to relevant caste certificate).

Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of qualifying written test, skill test (if applicable) and followed by Personal Interview.

How to Apply: Candidates can apply in prescribed format as per given in the notification, a recent passport size photograph should be pasted on the application form and sign on it, all columns should be filled up in block/capital letters by the candidates’ own hand writing, send it along with attested copies of qualification and experience certificates, one self addressed and stamped (stamps worth Rs. 39/-) envelope of size 23 cms x 10 cms, IPO/Bank Draft in a sealed cover super scribed as Application for the post of ____ by registered post/speed post to the following address Shri Rakesh Saini, IDSE, Executive Director (N.E. Zone), Tea Board N.E. Zonal Office, Cinnamara (Near Tocklai), Jorhat – 785008, Assam on or before 31-01-2013 by 05.00 PM.
