TN Civil Judge Notification 2012 – 185 vacancies in Tamil Nadu State Judicial Service: Government of Tamil Nadu has invited applications for the recruitment of 185 Civil Judges in the Tamil Nadu State Judicial Service to be made by Direct Recruitment. Civil Judge Vacancy Details:
Total no of Posts: 185 Posts
Name of the Posts:
1. Civil Judges: 185 Posts
i. General Turn: 56 Posts
2. Scheduled Castes: 29 Posts
3. Scheduled Castes (Arunthathiyars on preferential basis): 06 Posts
4. Schedules Tribes: 02 Posts
5. Backward Classes (other than Backward Class Muslims): 49 Posts
6. Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities: 37 Posts
7. Backward Class Muslims: 06 Posts
Age Limit: For Practicing Advocates/Pleaders and Assistant Public Prosecutors maximum 25 years and minimum 35 years, for Fresh Law Graduates maximum 22 years and minimum 27 years as on 01/07/2012.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Law from a recognized university.
Examination Fee: Rs-200/- paid in the form of Demand Draft Drawn in favour of the Registrar General, High Court of Madras, payable at Chennai. Candidates belonging to SC/ST are exempted from payment of the Examination Fee.
Selection Process: Selection is based on Written Examination & Viva Voce.
How to Apply: The eligible candidates can apply through prescribed application format available in the http://www.tn.gov.in/departments/home.html send it along with Demand Draft and all the enclosures to the following address office of the Principal Secretary to Government, Home Department, Fort St. George, Chennai-600 009 on or before 20/02/2012 by 5.45 PM.

First, that are the students of law final year who are about to complete their degree by May-June, considered eligible for the exams?
