Age Limit: Candidates age limit is 18 years to 40 years (Maximum age limit is 48 years for Experienced candidates) for Service Personnel/ Technical Posts and should not be above 50 years for SC/ ST and 48 years for Others in case of Posts 3 & 4 as on last date for receipt of applications.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Ph.D in concerned discipline & Master’s degree with 55% marks for Posts 1 & 2, Master’s degree level in relevant subject for Posts 3 & 4, S.S.L.C for Posts 5, 8 & 9, Degree for Posts 6 & 7 and Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture/ Agriculture for Post 10.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Practical/ Written Test & Interview.
Application Fee: Candidates need to Pay Rs 1000/- for Teaching Posts (Rs 500/- for SC/ ST/ Cat I candidates) and Rs 600/- for Technical/ Service Personnel Posts (Rs 300/- for SC/ ST/ Cat I candidates), paid through challan at any branches of State Bank of India. No Fee for Ex Servicemen or Children of defence personnel killed or disabled in action and Physically Disabled persons.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in prescribed format along with attested copies of mark sheets, certificates, experience certificates, publications, research notes, certificates of awards/ medals, certificates related to past service etc, in an envelope superscribed with “Application for the post of _________” addressed to the Registrar, University of Horticultural Sciences, Udyanagiri, Seemikeri Cross, Bagalkot 587103 (Karnataka) on or before 10-07-2014 up to 05.00 PM.
