Eligibility Criteria

  • Post Graduate Degree (MD/DNB/Diploma or equivalent in concerned stream) for the respective specialties.
  • For Casualty: Post Graduate Degree (MD/DNB/Diploma or equivalent in Emergency Department) OR 02 years' experience as Junior Resident from Government Hospital in Emergency or Medicine or Surgery or Orthopaedics Department.
  • For Paediatrics: Post Graduate Degree (MD/DNB/Diploma or equivalent in concerned stream) OR 02 years' experience as Junior Resident from Government Hospital in concerned department.
  • Senior Residency experience, if any, to be declared in the application form.

Salary/Stipend

  • Emoluments will be as per 7th CPC pay matrix level 11 (Rs 67,700/- - Rs 2,08,700/-) and other admissible allowances per month.

Age Limit 

  • Maximum age is 45 years as on date of interview.
  • Age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST candidates.
  • Age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC candidates.

Selection Process

  • Mode of selection will be through interview only.
  • Waiting list, if any, will be prepared and will be valid till next interview or till six months from declaration of result, whichever is earlier.
  • In case of very high number of applications, interview may be continued on the next working days, and this will be informed verbally by Board Members on the date of interview at the closing time.

General Information/Instructions

  • Period for regular candidates will be one year extendable for a maximum period of three years including the Ad-hoc period.
  • For Adhoc candidates, period will be 89 days extendable for a maximum period of three years including the Ad-hoc period or till the joining of Regular/Specialist Doctors whichever is earlier.
  • Candidates have to bring application, 02 passport size photos, Matriculation and Sr. Secondary Certificate, MBBS degree and mark sheets, MD/DNB/Diploma mark sheets and certificate, Caste Certificate, Residence Proof, DMC Certificate and experience certificates, if any.
  • Candidate shall have valid DMC Registration Certificate; acknowledgement slip of DMC may also be accepted but at the time of joining DMC certificate is required.
  • 3% seats shall be reserved for physically handicapped persons as per rules.
  • Number of vacancies is provisional and subject to change without any notice.
  • OBC/EWS certificates issued from Govt. of NCT of Delhi shall only be accepted.
  • OBC candidates must have valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for the current financial year.
  • EWS candidates must have valid certificate for the current financial year.
  • Candidates seeking reservation/relaxation must possess relevant certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Non-Creamy Layer/PwD etc.) issued by Competent/Notified Authority on or before the date of interview.
  • In case of non-availability of candidates under SC/ST/OBC/EWS category, vacancies may be filled from General category candidates and vice versa for 89 days on Adhoc basis.
  • If SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificate is found fake/false/not relevant, services will be terminated forthwith without prejudice to further action under Indian Penal Code.
  • The appointment and services will be governed under Residency Scheme of Govt. of India.
  • Candidates working on regular basis elsewhere must produce NOC from present employer.
  • No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for interview.
  • Selected candidates shall be allowed to join within 07 working days from issue of offer letter; no extension for joining will be considered.
  • All appointments shall be subject to medical fitness by Staff Physician of ABGH and verification of certificates of educational qualification, age, caste, valid DMC registration and internship completion certificate, etc.
  • Waiting list, if any, will be valid till next interview or six months from declaration of result, whichever is earlier.
  • All required certificates must be duly self-attested and attached with application.
  • Candidates must carry original certificates at the time of interview for verification.
  • Applicants must report in Room No. 304, Establishment Branch, 3rd floor, ABG Hospital, Delhi at 9.30 A.M.–10.30 A.M. on the date of interview to mark their attendance.
  • The decision of the Medical Superintendent will be final; jurisdiction of court will be Delhi/New Delhi only in case of legal dispute.
  • The service will stand automatically terminated on joining of a regular candidate.
  • All interested candidates are advised to download the application form annexed with the advertisement; no application form will be provided at the time of interview.
  • The hospital reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge/modify/alter the advertisement/recruitment process in case of discrepancies.

How to Apply

  • Interested candidates have to appear for Walk-in-Interview for the post of Senior Residents on Adhoc basis.
  • Candidates must download the application form annexed with the advertisement before the interview.
  • Candidates must fill all columns in the application form properly as incomplete application is liable to be rejected summarily.
  • Candidates must bring the duly filled application form along with 02 passport size photographs.
  • Candidates must bring self-attested copies and original documents of Matriculation and Sr. Secondary certificates, MBBS degree and mark sheets, MD/DNB/Diploma mark sheets and certificate, caste certificate, residence proof, valid DMC registration certificate and experience certificates, if any.
  • Candidates must report in Room No. 304, Establishment Branch, 3rd floor, ABG Hospital, Delhi at the specified reporting time on the date of interview.
  • Only those candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria and have necessary documents will be allowed to appear in the interview.
