Essential Qualifications
- Educational Requirement: Graduate degree in Statistics from any recognized university or institute

Job Scope & Responsibilities
Data Analyst (Statistics) will perform the following tasks:
- Data Preparation & Compilation: Prepare, compile, and analyze different types of data and statistics related to tariff determination
- Air Traffic Statistics: Preparation of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, yearly air traffic statistics including:
- Passenger statistics
- Aircraft movements (ATM)
- Cargo data
- Charges Compilation: Compilation of landing, housing, parking charges and User Development Fees (by Year/Airport/Control Period) approved by AERA
- Capital Expenditure Analysis: Prepare capital expenditure details and reports
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct statistics analysis and compile various reports from RBI and other agencies for inflation forecasting and other data requirements
- Debt Funding Analysis: Compile and analyze debt funding patterns from various agencies
- Data Validation: Take appropriate data validation and error detection initiatives
- Report Preparation: Prepare reports, data compilations, and summaries
- Data Presentation: Prepare various data/statistics in suitable presentation and analysis formats
- Template Review: Periodic review and modification of report formats/templates for improved utility
- Additional Tasks: Any other work as per AERA requirement
Important Terms & Conditions
Employment Terms:
- Tenure: Initial period of 2 years subject to satisfactory performance review after first year
- Extension: 2-year tenure extendable for additional period up to 3 years based on requirement and satisfactory performance
- Nature of Appointment: Purely on contract basis; NOT an employment position
- Legal Status: Independent consultant, NOT a staff member or official of AERA
- Full-Time Requirement: Will not be permitted to take up any other assignment during engagement with AERA
- No Claim for Regular Employment: Work and days on contract duty do not create any representation or claim for any form of employment
Termination Provisions:
- By AERA: Can be terminated after 2 months' notice or proportionate payment in lieu of notice
- By Candidate: Must give 2 months' advance notice or remuneration in lieu
- Immediate Termination by AERA: AERA reserves right to terminate immediately without notice based on performance or breach of contract terms
- Public Interest Termination: AERA may terminate without notice if candidate unable to perform satisfactorily
- Automatic Termination: At end of tenure if not extended
- No Work Certificate: If terminated before 1 year or candidate resigns before 1 year, no work certificate will be issued
Confidentiality & IPR:
- Intellectual Property Rights: All IPR of data collected and deliverables produced remain with AERA
- Confidentiality: Cannot utilize, publish, or share data/statistics/information with third parties without written consent from AERA
- Document Handover: Must hand over all records to reporting officer before contract expiry and final payment
- Restricted Use of Name/Emblem: Cannot use AERA name, emblem, or official seal for commercial advantage without permission
Health & Medical Requirements
- Candidate should be in good health for discharging official duties effectively
- No Insurance/Compensation: Dependents not entitled to any compensation or claim in case of death, injury, or illness, regardless of cause
